The premium 125cc commuter segment is growing at a rapid pace with famous entries like the TVS Raider 125 and the recently launched Hero Xtreme 125R. Now it seems Bajaj will be joining the wave with its own 125cc bike soon.
The bike in question is the camouflaged test mule in the pictures which is surely a Bajaj Product since the brand has been using similar registration numbers to previous Bajaj test mules and it’s the same case with the Bajaj-made KTMs and Triumphs.
And the bike being a 125cc commuter is kind of a given, I mean look at those skinny tyres and the rear drum brake which are obvious indicators that the bike is smaller than a 150cc bike. The wheels appear similar to the Bajaj Pulsar N150, so there’s a chance that this bike could use similar tyre sizes.
Talking about the design, this Bajaj bike seems to sport an all-new design, which can be seen with the new LED headlight shape and aggressive tank extensions. So, expect front heaviness from the bike similar to what Hero did with the Xtreme 125R. Even the mirrors appear new and the rear section seems unswept with a split seat setup, but it isn’t too aggressive and is very much like the Raider.
All the sharp design elements clearly indicate that this might be Bajaj’s answer to the Raider and Xtreme 125R, however only time will tell.
