2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Teased, Launch Soon

The 2024 variant of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has been teased again by the brand ahead of its launch via a TV commercial, following the recent launch of new versions of the Pulsar N150 and Pulsar N160. This update is also part of Bajaj’s plan to launch six new models in the market by the end of FY 23-24.

2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 – Highlights

The new TVC reveals the Pulsar NS200 with an all-new LED headlight with integrated LED DRLs, replacing the halogen unit from the previous model. But perhaps the biggest noteworthy change would be the redesigned instrument cluster which is now fully digital and updated switchgear, similar to the changes seen in the top-spec N150 and N160.

Meanwhile, the current NS200, which was introduced back in 2012, has retained its semi-digital console without any big changes, and to be honest that semi-digital cluster has that old-school and aesthetic sports bike charm to it, which is actually preferred by many enthusiasts and buyers.

Back to the LED cluster unit, this new fully digital console features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing seamless integration with the Bajaj Ride Connect App. Riders get access to several features such as turn-by-turn navigation, calls, information, text messages, battery health, and mobile signal strength.

In terms of design, Bajaj will retain the overall body styling of the Pulsar NS200, but some elements will be revised including the new headlight design which looks even more aggressive now, sportier graphics, decals and new colour options. Moreover, the switchgear now includes a dedicated mode button for navigating the new LCD display.

The 2024 Pulsar NS400 will continue with most of its mechanical prowess such as the USD forks and dual-channel ABS. The bike uses a perimeter frame which is suspended by the front USD forks and a Nitrox mono shock absorber at the rear. Braking is handled by a 300 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear, with 17-inch tyres respectively.

Powering the NS200 is the 199.5 cc, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, triple spark, FI DTS-i engine that generates 24.5 PS of power and 18.74 Nm of Torque. The unit is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. With these updates, the NS200’s price tag will see a considerable increase, which might put it on the higher end of the segment in terms of pricing when compared to other competitors like the Apache RTR 200 4v and Honda Hornet 2.0.
