TheRay ZR 125 appears a rough & tough scooter.Powered by a 125cc blue core engiine, It is priced at Rs 85,030 (ex-sh) & is avaliable in 2 variants.
Another solid yet costly Ntorq alternative is the SR 125. Powered by a 125cc unit that can surpass the TVS in speed, it costs quite a lot more at Rs 1.21 Lakh (ex-sh) but also offers Aprilia's aggressive styling.
The Dio 125 is basically a Grazia retaining its sporty youthful design & bringing in the same powerful 125cc engine. It's priced at Rs 91,750 (ex-sh).
Another performance-oriented scooter is the Avenis 125 which starts at Rs 92,000 (ex-sh) & is powered by a 125cc 4-stroke SOHC motor.
This one is a mix of sporty & commuter style but its not avaliable in India yet. The Xtec feautres a 125cc 4stroke, OHC engine.
You can also go for the Suzuki Access 125 instead of the Maestro because the Access has the one of the best acceleration in its class, although it has a commuter design.
