Tata Motors leads the EV market in October with the most number of electrics sold. It sold 6,152 EVs which includes Punch EV, Tiago EV, TIgor EV, Nexon EV & Curvv EV.
MG stands second, selling 2,530 EVs in October. Models include the Comet EV, new Windsor & ZS EV.
Mahindra sold 907 EVs last month making it 3rd on this list. The XUV400 is currenlly the lone warrior in the brand's e-lineup.
BYD is a newer brand in India but ranks 4th in sales with 363 units sold. Popular models include the Atto3, eMax7 and Seal EV.
The brand recorded sales of 254 units in October 2024 with the eC3 being the sole model in the electric lineup. This shows the brand is rising in the Indian market.
