RE finally launched the Scram 440, which is an upgrade of the Scram 411. The update was due after the Himalayan was upgraded last year.
Firstly, lets talk about the big update here which is the new 443cc single-cylinder, air-cooled unit that generates 25.4bhp/34Nm.
The Scram, paired with a 6-speed gearbox is now apt for both smooth highway cruising & city riding. The vibrations are reduced as well with improved mileage.
The bike gets new LED headlamp, switchable ABS & a Tripper Navigation.
The Scram's braking has been updated with a 300mm front & 240mm rear discs. It retains its suspension setup, telescopic front forks & rear monoshock with 190mm & 180mm of travel on offer.
The Trial variant is priced at Rs 2.08 Lkah (ex-showroom) while the Force variant is priced a bit higher at Rs 2.15 Lakh (ex-showroom).
