The Kia Syros features a boxy SUV design, inspired from EV9 which is aesthically pleasing and the blue colour gives it a joyful vibe. Front has a vertically placed 3-pod LEDs while the sides have large windows. The rear has L-shaped LED taillights with a flat tailgate.
The Kia Syros features an interior that is borrowed by the Kia EV9 with a dual-tone black & grey cabin , 2-spoke steering wheel & leatherette seats. It includes features 12.3-inch screens, a 5-inch climate control display, a panoramic sunroof, 6 airbags, a Harman Kardon system & more.
The new Syros is powered by a 1.0L turbo-petrol unit & a 1.5L diesel engine. The petrol produces 118bhp/172Nm while the diesel unit produces 114bhp/250Nm. Paired with a standard 6-speed manual gearbox with optional 6-speed torque converter automatic & 7-speed DCT units.
The Syros won't have any direct rivals in India but can be seen as an affordable rival to the Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta & Kia Seltos.
The Kia Syros will be avalibale in 6 variants: HTK, HTK(O), HTK Plus, HTX, HTX Plus & HTX Plus(O). The orders will officially open its order on Jan3, 2025 & deliveries will begin in Feb 2025.
