Isuzu is all set to showcase its D-Max BEV concept at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, nearly an after its global debut at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2024.
This is the concept for the upcoming electrified version of the diesel pick-up truck, with the same payload capacity as its ICE counterpart (company claim).
The Concept looks similar to the current ICE version expect the blue highights & grille style to define its electric powertrain.
The Concept gets a 66.9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack while being powered by 2 electric motors on each axle. The front unit products 54bhp/108Nm while the rear produces 121bhp/217Nm. Both add up to 174bhp & 325Nm of torque.
The power is going to all 4 wheels with a full-time 4WD while top speed is restricted to 130kmph. The concept has a payload capacity of 1000 kg with a 3,500 kg towing capacity.
The brand plans to put D-Max BEV into production in 2025 for markets like Norway, UK, Australia & Thailand. India might just be on the brand's list of markets.
