Hero has gone leaps & bounds with their designs nowadays. The once commuter-ish brand is now making some of the best looking bikes & the Xtreme 250R is no exception. The sharp extentions, sculpted fuel tank & low slung headlamp will make anyone fall for it.
Hero claims the upcoming Xtreme 250R to be the quickest in its class with its 250cc engine that produces 30Bhp/ 25Nm. An assist & slipper clutch is also expected.
This Xtreme gets a steel trellis frame from the Karizma XMR, with 17-inch alloys at both ends suspended by 43mm USD forks at front & adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is handled by Discs at both wheels.
The Xtreme 250R is packed with goodies that makes it a competent modern quater-liter streetfighter. All LEDs, a fully-digital cluster with smartphone support & a dual-channel ABS are few features.
Price is yet to be revealed but given the overall package & rivals like the N250 & Gixxer 250, the Xtreme 250R will likey be priced around Rs 2 Lakh. It will be affordable since its a Hero product.
The Hero Xtreme 250R is expected launch somewhere in January-February since Hero has started preparing TVCs for the bike.
