Citroen has confirmed that its Basalt Coupe SUV will be launched in August. Exact date is not revealed yet.

The Basalt Coupe SUV will join as the 5th model in the Citoen lineup in Indian market.
The Basalt is Citroen's effort to venture into the Indian Compact SUV segment and perhaps shine with their new design approach.
The Basalt's coupe like styling promises the same feel as other big names like the Maruti Grand Vitara alongside turning a few heads.
The Basalt will likely sport a 1.2-litre turbo petrol motor that generates 109 bhp and 205 Nm. The engine will likely be paired with 6-speed manual & torque converter gearboxes.
Atleast for now, the Basalt will compete with the Tata Curvv as its key rival in the Coupe SUV category.
