The 390 SMC R's full specifications have been revealed by KTM. First showcased back at EICMA 2024.
The upcoming Supermoto's engine is borrowed from the 390 Adventure which is a 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit that produces 44.9bhp/39Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox & slipper clutch.
The bike is designed to be dual-purpose, with a flat headlamp & minimal style. A beak-like front mudguard & a single-piece seat alongside a slim fuel tank screams off-roading.
The Supermoto is loaded with modern features like a rectangualr 4.2-inch TFT display with bluetooth & navigation features. It also has 3 riding modes: Street, Rain & Race.
Underpinned by a steel trellis frame that is suspended by 43mm WP Apex USD front forks & a rear monoshock. The suspension is also rebound adjustable with 20 clicks on fly.
The wheels on the 390 SMC R are 17-inch aluminium rims with 110 and 150 sections at the front & rear tyres. Braking is hanled by 320mm front & 240mm rear discs with Bybre radial calipers at both sides.
So KTM will first launch the new 390 Adventure S & Endure R first soon, followed by the 390 SMC R later in India this year.
