A new Bajaj 125cc Premium Commuter motorbike has been spotted during test runs near Pune and this bike seems to be the rumoured Pulsar N125. The bike was also spotted last month, which we reported on.
Bajaj Pulsar N125 Test Mule Spied
While the bike is under wraps, the body panels are big and sharp enough to be noticeable from the outside. The fuel tank is shaped aggressively with its pointy extensions and large side panels that integrate smoothly with the upswept tail section.
The headlamp appears to have a sharp profile with a small windscreen. However, the test mule has a halogen headlight instead of an LED unit which is a norm with other new launches nowadays. This headlight seems to be a dummy unit while Bajaj goes ahead with a headlight design for production.
Apart from the styling, the Pulsar N125 will likely borrow its frame from the Pulsar N150. The test mule appears to sport the same 17-inch alloys as seen on the N150. Other visible specs include a telescopic fork, a monoshock and a simple box section swingarm. Braking is handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the rear. The console also appears to be an LCD and should feature Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.
It’s still unclear whether Bajaj has developed a new air-cooled unit or has derived the single-cylinder engine from an existing Pulsar. This upcoming N125 will possibly go live in 6 to 8 months and will be against other high sellers in the segment like the Hero Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider.
