Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson have recently announced the launch of the lineup of Imported Harleys in India along with their prices. The brands have confirmed 10 models to come to the country this year. While Some of these bikes are existing models, the others are fresh, The most affordable of the big bunch will be the Nightster which is priced at Rs 13.39 Lakh. On the other hand, the new Harley-Davidson Road Glide is the costliest of the bunch and comes with a price tag of Rs 41.79 Lakh (Ex-showroom).
There are also 3 models among the lineup from the new Sportster family with the liquid-cooled V-twin engine – the Nightster, Nightster Special and the Sportster S. The traditional Cruiser range is represented by the Fatboy 114, Fatboy 117, Heritage 117 and the Breakout 117. This also means that the Breakout makes a comeback in the Indian market after almost 10 years.
Apart from these, the Pan America Adventure motorbike also returns here albeit only in its higher variant, the Pan America Special (Something’s better than nothing). Lastly, we also get the recently refreshed Street Glide and Road Glide models. Both these motorbikes use the larger 117 engine, which is claimed to offer better thermal comfort for the rider. The motorbikes are also said to offer improved aerodynamics, a new infotainment screen which is a big 12.3-inch TFT display and increased rear suspension travel.
